Error in Loading DLL
If DXKeeper, DXView, or SpotCollector spontaneously generate an errorlog.txt file that reports
Error in loading DLL
this is the result of a missing entry in the Windows Registry.
DXKeeper, DXView, or SpotCollector each use the Microsoft Jet database engine - the same database engine used by Microsoft Access, a component of Microsoft Office.
First, terminate all running DXLab and Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Access if you happen to have it installed.
Microsoft's instructions for restoring the missing Registry entry are here. These instructions differ as a function of whether the version of Windows in use is 32-bit or 64-bit, and whether the application is 32-bit or 64 bit. DXLab applications are all 32-bit, so
if you're using a 64-bit version of windows, follow the 64-bit Windows, 32-bit Office instructions
if you'er using a 32-bit version of windows, follow the 32-bit Windows, 32-bit Office instructions
These instructions do not require use of the Windows Registry Editor.
