Removing the Station Callsign from an LoTW Station Location

Early versions of TQSL required a Station Location to specify a Callsign Certificate. This forced users to create a Station Location for each combination of operating location and station callsign (callsign used over the air from an operating location). TQSL version 2.3.1 (and later) lets you set a Station Location's callsign to [None], so you can use the Station Location to upload QSOs to LotW for any station callsign.

In step 3 of these instructions,

  1. note the Grid Square, ITU Zone, and CQ Zone specified

  2. set the Call Sign selector to [NONE]

  3. check the Allow 'None' for Call Sign box

  4. specify your Grid Square, ITU Zone, and CQ Zone

  5. click the Next button twice, and then click the Finish button

  6. in the TQSL panel on the QSL Configuration window's LotW tab, click the Update button

When you select a Station Location in the TQSL panel on the QSL Configuration window's LotW tab, if you choose a Station Location that does not specify a Station Callsign, DXKeeper will prompt you to directly set the station callsign:

Replace [NONE] with the station callsign to be used when uploading QSOs to LotW:
