Recovering a window that is no longer visible on your monitor

To regain access to a window that is no longer visible on your monitor,

  1. right-click the window's icon on the Windows Task Bar to display a context menu
  2. if the context menu contains a Restore item that is not disabled, left-click it, and then right-click the window's icon on the Windows Task Bar again to display the context menu

  3. left-click the Move item in the context menu
  4. strike one of the arrow keys your keyboard; this locks the mouse cursor to the missing window's title bar
