Recovering a window that is no longer visible on your monitor

To regain access to a window that is no longer visible on your monitor,

  1. right-click the window's icon on the Windows Task Bar to display a context menu
  2. if the context menu contains a Restore item that is not disabled, left-click it; alternatively, repetitively strike ALT-TAB until the missing window is selected

  3. right-click the window's icon on the Windows Task Bar again to display the context menu
  4. left-click the Move item in the context menu
  5. strike one of the arrow keys your keyboard; this locks the mouse cursor to the missing window's title bar
  6. move the mouse until the missing window appears on screen in the desired location
  7. left-click to unlock the mouse cursor from the window's title bar

If the window's icon is not present on the Windows Task Bar and the window is part of a DXLab application, then

  1. terminate all DXLab applications except the DXLab Launcher and the application to which the missing window belongs
  2. in the lower-right corner of the DXLab Launcher's Config window, click the Reset button
