This release - prevents creation of errorlog.txt file entry when all Overrides in DXView are deleted - if the Edit button has been clicked to enable changes to a logged QSOs, subsequently enabling or disabling a Main window panel will not prevent changes to logged QSOs (tnx to Mark N1UK) - when suggesting that a confirmation for a digital mode be submitted to the ARRL DXCC desk, it is characterized as as DIGI rather than with the mode name (tnx to Scott N9LJX) - removes a spurious "prov" label in Main window's Awards panel (tnx to Bill WB2RIS) - informs the user if the Windows short date format includes the "day of the week", and then terminates (tnx to Bill AA4M) - adds AS (aircraft scatter) to propagation selectors (tnx to Mike K1MK) - accepts SUBMODE when importing a tab-delimited file, and includes SUBMODE when exporting a tab-delimited file - adds JS8 and PSK2K to the DefaultModes.txt in DXKeeper's Databases folder, making these modes available in all Mode selectors by default - in ADIF and tab-delimited file import/export operations, recognizes all SUBMODEs specified in ADIF 3.0.9 - updates the Configuration.htm, Export.htm, Items.htm, LogIntegrity.htm, Progress.htm, and UpdateFromCallbook.htm documentation files Notes: 1. if you have created a Modes.txt file in DXKeeper's Databases folder and wish to use the Modes JS8 or PSK2K, copy the entries for these Modes in DefaultModes.txt and paste them into your Modes.txt file 2. DXKeeper predates the introduction of Submodes into ADIF. In the past, Modes like PSK31 were represented in ADIF with PSK31, but such Modes are now represented in ADIF by PSKPSK31. See for a table showing Modes and Submodes. So that any ADIF file ever exported by a previous version of DXKeeper can still be successfully imported, DXKeeper 14.7.9 and its successors will when importing a QSO from an ADIF or tab-delimited file whose Mode is defined in DefaultModes.txt, accept the Mode-only representation, even if ADIF defines the Mode as a Submode. For example, DXKeeper 14.7.9 will when importing intepret PSK31 as specifying a Mode of PSK31; DXKeeper 14.7.9 will also interpret PSKPSK31 as specifying a Mode of PSK31. Note that all ADIF-compliant applications must continue to accept the Mode-only representation when importing. When exporting to a "standard ADIF" file or to a tab-delimited file a QSO whose Mode is defined in ADIF as a Submode, DXKeeper 14.7.9 and its successors will emit the Mode-Submode representation. For example, a QSO whose mode is PSK31 will generate an ADIF record containing PSKPSK31. The ADIF exported for each Mode defined in DefaultModes.txt is specified in the right-most column of the table in . When exporting a QSO to an "ADIF 1.0" file or to a "DXBase ADIF" file, only the QSO's Mode is included in the generated record. For example, a QSO whose mode is PSK31 will generate an ADIF 1.0 record containing PSK31. When exporting ADIF for Club Log, only the QSO's Mode is included in the generated record; currently, Club Log does not accept Submodes. When exporting ADIF for eQSL, if the QSO specifies a Submode, the Submode is included in the generated record as the Mode (as is currently required by eQSL). When exporting ADIF for LoTW, the Mode and Submode are both included in the generated record. With "Configuration Data" version 11.6 installed, TQSL accepts all Modes and Submodes defined by ADIF 3.0.9. 3. When importing a QSO from an ADIF or tab-delimited file whose mode is not specified in DefaultModes.txt and which ADIF specifies as a submode, only the mode/submode representation will be recognized. For exmample, if you create a MODES.txt file that includes an entry for PSK1000, DXKeeper will recognize PSK1000 as specifying a mode of PSK1000, but will not recognize PSK1000. 4. Update your firewall and anti-malware applications to consider this new version of DXKeeper to be "safe" 5. If this upgrade doesn't work correctly, see the "After an Upgrade" section of 76. After upgrading, to revert to the previous version of DXKeeper, see DXKeeper 14.7.9 is available via the DXLab Launcher and via
