This release

- avoids "expression too complex" errorlog.txt entries in PSKXCVR:UpdateReceiveFrequency, UpdateTransmitFrequency, UpdateTransmitToReceiveFrequency, and ComputeSignalStrength (tnx to Dave KB3MOW)

- limits the "FSK Control" selector in the "Modulation and transceiver mode" panel on the Config window's RTTY tab to serial ports 1 through 8, as the MMTTY engine does not support ports 9 through 16 (tnx to Joe W4TV)

- tolerates corrupted registry values when recovering Macro settings from the previous operating session during startup (tnx to Giuseppe, IT9FGA)

- If SpotCollector is running, tracks the current SFI, A-Index, and K-index, and logs this information (needed for DXKeeper 6.0)

- includes BAND_RX when saving a QSO in the minilog or to a logging application

- the <LastQSO> macro returns "this is our last QSO together" when invoked with no previous QSO (tnx to Scott KB0FHP)

- provides the ability to specify an independent default transmit power for each mode

- in soundcard RTTY with FSK selected, properly sets the transmit mark and space frequencies after the Optimal Offset function is invoked and after switching from AFSK to FSK operation (tnx to Dave KB3MOW)

- During soundcard RTTY operation in FSK, shows the transmit mark and space frequencies in the tuning display if they differ from the receive mark and space frequencies

- in RTTY operation, provides the ability to invoke the Optimal Offset function and disable AFC by

*** depressing the CTRL key when clicking the Opt button

*** depressing the ALT key while right-clicking in the waterfall or tuning display

*** using the new <optoffsetdisableafc> macro command

- in RTTY operation, provides the ability to both set default transmit and receive tones and disable AFC by invoking the Default Frequencies function while depressing the CTRL key

- updates the CWSettings.thm, Logging.htm, LogSettings.htm, Macros.htm, PhoneSettings.htm, SoundcardPSKSettings.htm, SoundcardRTTYReception.htm, and SoundcardRTTYSettings.htm online documentation files


Previously, WinWarbler provided a single "Default TxPwr" setting on the Config window's Log tab. To avoid the need to manually modify this setting when changing modes, this release provides independent "Default TxPwr" settings on the Config window's PSK (in the Transceiver panel), RTTY, CW, and Phone tabs. When logging a QSO, the "QSO Info" panel's "TxPwr item will be initialized from the "Default TxPwr" setting for the current mode.


This release provides two improvements for those who operate soundcard RTTY with AFC enabled:

1. you can invoke the "Optimal Offset" function and disable AFC with a single gesture, eliminating the possibility that your receive frequency changes after your rig QSYs due to AFC action

2. you can invoke the "Default Frequencies" function and disable AFC with a single gesture; in FSK operation, this provides a fast way to return your receive frequency to your transmit frequency and prevent any subsequent AFC-induced excursions
