Depending upon the version of Windows you're running and the level of security you have configured, upgrading to SpotCollector 7.6.0 may cause the Windows "User Account Control" (UAC) subsystem to seek your permission for a change to be made to your computer. The specific change being made is the registration of a new component that SpotCollector now uses to access the TNC serial port. If this request appears on your monitor, the upgrade will not proceed until you respond. If you do not authorize UAC to allow the change, SpotCollector 7.6.0 will not work correctly. 2. Update your firewall and anti-malware applications to consider this new version of SpotCollector to be "safe" 3. If this upgrade doesn't work correctly, see the "After an Upgrade" section of 4. After upgrading, to revert to the previous version of SpotCollector, see SpotCollector 7.6.0 is available via the DXLab Launcher, and via 73, Dave, AA6YQ
