This release - modifies a log database query that produced inaccurate "worked before" results on some systems (tnx to Joe W4TV and Tim K9US) - provides the option to limit a telnet or packetcluster window to the display of announcement and talk messages (tnx to Chuck WS1L and others) - provides a means of ignoring spots from specified spot sources (tnx to Mark WC5M) - determines the mode of a spot database entry with a QSX frequency but no mode identifier in its spot notes by using the QSX frequency's sub-band rather than the DX station's transmit frequency's sub-band (tnx to Jamie W2QO) - doesn't activate PropView's Main window when the user double-clicks a Spot Database Entry with the "request Prop forecast" option enabled and PropView's Main window minimized (tnx to Danny N7DC) - activates DXKeeper's Main window if the user right-clicks a spot database entry and selects the Lookup menu item and DXKeeper's Main window is minimized (tnx to Marty N1HT) - updates the CollectingSpots.htm, ConfigurationDisplay.htm, ConfigurationGeneral.htm, ConfigurationSources.htm, ConfigurationSpecialCallsigns.htm, and SpotDatabase.htm online documentation files SpotCollector 4.3.9 is available via the DXLab Launcher, and via http://www.dxlabsuite.com/download.htm . Notes 1. Requesting a propagation forecast by right-clicking a spot database entry and selecting the "Predict Propagation" menu item still activates PropView's Main window if it is minimized 2. to use a telnet cluster window or packetcluster window to monitor talk and announcement messages without the clutter of DX and WWV spots, check the cluster's new "Ann/Talk" option on the Config window's "Spot Sources" tab; DX and WWV spots will still be inserted into their respective databases, but they will not appear in the window. 3. to ignore spots sourced (spotted) by a specific callsign, create an entry in the Special Callsign list (Config window, "Special Callsigns" tab) with a tag of BadSource, and enable the new "Check spotting station callsigns for BadSource tags" option; this will cause SpotCollector to ignore both spots by this callsign, and spots of this callsign. If you are not using this capability, leave "Check spotting station callsigns for BadSource tags" disabled so that SpotCollector won't waste time querying the Special Callsign list with each incoming spot's source callsign. 73, Dave, AA6YQ
