DXLab DXCC Database 2.5.8 Change Notes

Change from DXCC Database 2.5.7: defines Chinese provinces as primary administrative subdivisions rather than regions

To upgrade to DXCC Database 2.5.7 to DXCC Database 2.5.8,

1. if you have DXKeeper, SpotCollector, and/or WinWarbler running, terminate them

2. If you've been using DXKeeper, SpotCollector, and/or WinWarbler without having installed DXView, direct the Launcher to install DXView

3. start DXView, open its Configuration window, and select its Databases tab

   1. click the New? button

   2. click the DXCC Database's Upgrade button

   3. terminate and restart DXView

4. start SpotCollector 7.8.5 (or later) ; on the Configuration window's Spot Database tab, click the Recomputation panel's Recomp button

Note: if you are upgrading from a version of the DXCC Database earlier than 2.5.7, start DXKeeper, and on its Main window's Check Progress tab, click the Recompute button.
