When an action taken in another application conveys a callsign to Pathfinder along with a Search directive, Pathfinder invokes the search you have designated as automatic.

To designate a particular search as automatic,

  1. While depressing the CTRL key, click the button associated with that search

  2. in Pathfinder Search window that appears,

    1. check the Auto box

    2. click the OK button
