Configuring Dates Displayed on the Main window's Log QSOs Tab

DXKeeper uses the "Short Date" format specified in Windows to display dates on this tab.

To change the date format in Windows XP

  1. terminate DXKeeper
  2. open the Windows Control panel
  3. run the Regional and Language Options applet

  4. in the Regional an Language Options window, click the Customize button

  5. in the Customize Regional Options window,

    1. select the Date tab

    2. set the Short Date panel to the desired format; the format must specify a 4-digit year

    3. click the OK button

  6. click the OK button in the Regional an Language Options window

  7. run DXKeeper

To change the date format in Windows Vista

  1. terminate DXKeeper
  2. open the Windows Control panel
  3. Click theClock, Language, and Region heading

  4. in the Region and Language Options section, click the Change the date, time, or number format heading

  5. in the Region and Language Options window, select the Formats tab

    1. click the Customize this format... button

    2. in the Customize Regional Options window, select the Date tab

    3. in the Date formats panel, select the desired Short Date; the format selected must specify a 4-digit year

    4. click the Customize Regional Options window's OK button

    5. click the Region and Language Options window's OK button

  6. run DXKeeper

To change the date format in Windows 7 or Windows 8 or Windows 10

  1. terminate DXKeeper
  2. open the Windows Control panel
  3. Click theClock, Language, and Region heading

  4. in the Region and Language section, click the Change the date, time, or number format heading

  5. in the Region and Language window,

    1. select the Formats tab

    2. in the Date and time formats panel, select the desired Short Date; the format selected must specify a 4-digit year

    3. click the OK button

  6. run DXKeeper
