Expanded QSL Support

  1. the new QSL Sent Via selector offers choices of Bureau, Direct, and Electronic (Main window, Log QSOs tab, QSL panel)

    1. when checked, the new use bureau box on the Capture window sets QSL SENT VIA to B when the QSO is logged; the initial value of this box is set by the Preset 'use buro' checkbox box on the QSL Config window's General tab

    2. when checked, the new Default to 'send via bureau' option on the Main window's Import QSOs tab sets QSL SENT VIA to B for each imported QSO

    3. options on the QSL Config window's General tab let you configure Add Needed and Add Requested to set QSL SENT VIA to either B or D in each of the QSOs they add to the QSL Queue

    4. you can modify a QSL Queue entry's Sent Via item by clicking in its cell, and then clicking the down-facing black triangle open a selector; when you make such a change, the QSL SENT VIA item in the QSO from which the QSL Queue entry was generated will also be updated

    5. when printing QSL cards or labels and when generating ADIF or tab-delimited files, you can specify whether DXKeeper should include QSLs whose Sent Via item is B or D

    6. when generating outgoing QSLs, QSOs whose QSL SENT VIA is set to B

      • say via buro in the address report

      • don't generate an address label
      • don't print an addresses on an envelope

    1. the new eQSL.cc member selector captures the station's participation in eQSL.cc:

      • Y - known to participate

      • checking the new eQSL.cc member box on the Capture window sets the eQSL.cc member item to Y in the logged QSO

    2. the new LotW member selector captures the station's participation in LotW:

      • Y - known to participate

      • N - known not to participate

      • checking the new LotW member box on the Capture window sets the LotW member item to Y in the logged QSO

  4. improvements to the operation of Sync eQSL.cc QSLs

    1. clicking the Sync eQSL.cc QSLs button only downloads and processes confirmations generated since the last time Sync eQSL.cc QSLs was invoked; do download and process all of your eQSL.cc confirmations, depress the CTRL key while clicking Sync eQSL.cc QSLs

    2. after performing a Sync eQSL.cc QSLs operation, the Log Page Display is filtered to contain only QSOs confirmed via eQSL.cc, and sorted in order of eQSL.cc Date Rcvd so you can easily inspect your newly-confirmed QSOs; afterwards, CTRL-click the Filter panel's X button to clear the Log Page Display filter and sort the Log Page Display in UTC order

    3. downloaded eQSL.cc SWL reports are ignored rather than be reported as a mismatch

  5. after performing a Sync LotW QSLs operation, the Log Page Display is filtered to contain only QSOs confirmed via LotW, and sorted in order of LotW Date Rcvd so you can easily inspect your newly-confirmed QSOs; afterwards, CTRL-click the Filter panel's X button to clear the Log Page Display filter and sort the Log Page Display in UTC order

  6. The new Include 'via Buro' boxes on the QSL Config window's QSL Cards and QSL Labels tabs provide the option to print "via buro" on cards or 2-column labels respectively

  7. you can generate an a QSL for an SWL report by
    1. on the Main window's QSL tab, set the QSL via panel to Cards, 2-column labels, or 3-column labels as desired

    2. in the Log Page Display (Main window, Log QSOs tab), right-click on the QSO for which you received the SWL report and select Add SWL entry to QSL Queue; DXKeeper will prompt you for the SWL's callsign, and then add an entry to the QSL Queue that when printed will produce the desired card or label

  8. callbook lookups of US stations append the state to the QTH
