This release - works around a TQSL defect in the storage of station location names that include an apostrophe (tnx to Frank VO1HP) - when performing a "previous QSO lookup" for a station's callsign, ensures that DXView displays the station's current location (tnx to Jamie W2QO and Art K6XT) - when reporting errors while importing an ADIF file, ensures that the Progress panel displays the imported ADIF header on a line separate from the first error report (tnx to Jim AD1C) - activates the Log button when double-clicking the sent or received date fields for paper, LotW, or eQSL.cc QSLs (tnx to Bob 9V1QQ) - correctly processes in a Script's Modify command (tnx to Tom NJ2DX) - provides the option to remove tags containing binary data from an imported ADIF file, and an "import from Logic" option that when selected removes tags containing binary data from an imported ADIF file (tnx to Jeff KB2M) - displays progress when stripping binary tags from an imported file, and permits this operation to be aborted - when exporting a tab-delimited file via the Main window's export tag, includes (tnx to Kevin K4VD) * the State (for US, Alaska, Hawaii), Province (for Canada), or empty (for all other DXCC entities) * the County (for US, Alaska, Hawaii), or empty (for all other DXCC entities) - when reporting the details of a "most recent QSO" that's missing a frequency, reports the band (tnx to Jim AD1C) - replaces QSL substitution commands found in a QSO's QSL Message item when uploading to eQSL.cc or LotW, or when generating an ADIF or tab-delimited file from the QSL Queue (tnx to Laurie VK3AMA) - on the Main window's Check Progress tab, the DXCC panel's Progress report shows progress based on all QSOs visible in the Log Page Display, rather than on all QSOs in the Log (tnx to Jamie W2QO) - generates CQ DX Marathon Progress and Submission reports, with the ability to specify a maximum transmit power and ignore QSOs that exceed this transmit power, and the optional ability to consider QSOs whose propagation mode is not specified (tnx to Laurent F1JKJ, Ricardo DM2RG, and Joe W4TV)) - when performing a SyncLotWQSOs operation and encountering an accepted QSO whose LotW_SENT_DATE is not specified, sets LotW_SENT_DATE to the the "last QSO accepted" date provided by LotW (tnx to Bob 9V1QQ) - provides the ability to print batches of self-addressed envelopes (tnx to Bob 9V1QQ) - updates the Configuration.htm, Export.htm, Import.htm, Progress.htm, QSL.htm, and QSLConfiguration.htm documentation files You can print self-addressed envelopes using the new panel on the "QSL Config" window's Envelopes tab. There's a new Marathon panel along the bottom of the Main window's "Check Progress" tab. Clicking its Progress button generates a CQ DX Marathon progress report for the current year; CTRL-clicking its Progress button lets you specify the year for which the report is generated. Clicking the panel's Submission button generates a CQ DX Marathon submission report for the previous year; CTRL-clicking the Submission button lets you specify the year for which the submission report is generated. Note that the generated submission report uses DXKeeper's entity prefixes rather than those specified by CQ. If you want a perfectly compliant submission, you'll need to correct this manually; I'm planning to discuss this with the CQ folks next week. Consistent with Marathon rules, the progress and submission reports ignore - QSOs on the 60m, 30m, 17m, and 12m bands - QSOs whose propagation mode is satellite, repeater, internet, or unspecified (you can Configure DXKeeper to consider QSOs whose propagation mode is unspecified by checking a box on the Config window's Awards" tab) - QSOs whose transmit power exceeds the value you specify in the Marathon panel's "Maximum transmit power" textbox on the Config window's "Awards" tab (leave this box empty for "unlimited power") DXKeeper 5.8.6 is available via the DXLab Launcher and via http://www.dxlabsuite.com/download.htm . 73, Dave, AA6YQ
