Frequency Manager v 2.0 Rick Ellison - N2AMG -------------- Introduction -------------- Frequency Manager is an add-on Program for Logger32 by Bob Furzer K4CY and Commander by AA6YQ. Its main function is to store frequencies including a title and mode in a tree hierarchy layout for easy access via computer interface. All information is stored in an Access database capable of holding 32000 records. Also included is a frequency scanner that will scan thru selected entries at a set time interval. ------------- Usage ------------- Upon loading for the first time the Database will be created and populated with Band listings. The program will be in the editor mode for you to enter the frequencies that you want. Once you have entered the frequencies you want stored you will need to save and close the editor window. Upon closing the editor window you will be shown the normal layout that will be displayed when you load the program the next time. After you have entered entries into the main database you will be able to use the built-in scanner to scan thru entries you have selected. Entering information -------------------- 1 Click Editor from the menu bar at the top of the window. 2 When the editor window opens select the folder you want to add the information into. 3 Right Click to bring up the menu and Select New Entry in Selected folder 4 An enter window will open for data to be entered 5 Once the information is saved it will appear in the Editor's Tree view. In the main Window clicking on any of the entries will cause the Frequency and Mode to be sent to Logger32 or Commander and the radio will change accordingly. *Note to Logger32 Users If there is no definition for a specific radio for a frequency set in the Freq manager's table, then the radio QSYed will be the currently active radio. In other words if one has say selected 10.000Mhz for a freq standard for example and the Logger32 bandmode table does NOT actually cover this freq at all (ie not defined) then the active radio at the time will be the one QSY'd to the new frequency.
